About us

The training and development of Saudi candidates to participate in the medical field is the main goal of the Health Science College in KAU.

EMT education in Saudi Arabia started decades ago mainly in the eighties; and this program is considered a continuation to the previous efforts but the difference in this program is introduction of advanced and necessary skills to the workers in the field of Prehospital & hospital Emergency medicine.

This Emergency Medical Technician training programs is in compliance with what is practiced worldwide and was built on scientific bases and results of many pilot programs to be able to avoid as much as possible difficulties in implementation. This will make the product of this program compatible with the international teaching standards.
